Complete with sea views this semi-detached property boasts a spacious kitchen light and airy living room and a peaceful enclosed garden. Down in the cellar you can take the film-watching experience to the next level with the cinema projector and state of the art surround sound.\n\nOffering parking which is something of a novelty in Wells-next-the-Sea guests may well be tempted to park their car up and stay within the town for the full duration of their stay. Popular with locals and tourists alike this pretty little coastal town offers a beautiful quay which lies just opposite Crow’s Nest a mix of traditional seaside shops and artisan boutiques great places to eat potter shop and more. There’s a narrow gauge railway that runs past the pitch and putt golf course down to the pine woods and wide sandy beach with its candy-coloured beach huts. From the quay itself there are boat trips to fish or see the seals and you may also see people “gillying” the local term for catching crabs by hand line. The harbour is also home to Wells’ water ski club sailing club and various other nautical pursuits. For a change of pace hop in your car and head to Hunstanton known by the locals as “Sunny Hunny” but make sure you allow the time to explore the pretty coastal villages along the way. There are breathtaking marshes and pristine beaches scattered along the coastline that must be seen to be believed.\n\nHistory buffs will be spoilt for choice with the medieval city of Norwich with its fine Norman Castle the Hanseatic Old Quarter of Kings Lynn Royal Sandringham Holkham Hall and the Blickling Estate all within easy reach. Equally lovers of nature and birds will find a wide range of habitats from which to view the local wildlife. After a day’s sightseeing you can retire to the sun room or the garden at Crow’s Nest and raise a glass to adventures yet to be had. The owners live nearby so help is always at hand. Beach 100 yards. Shop pub and restaurant 100 yards. \n " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/128/840/1287609.jpg UKC562

Very good cottage and location. A bit worried at first being on the car park but it was absolutely fine.

We had a lovely week at Crows Nest and despite the view of the car park, the cottage is in an excellent location, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were an all adult group and perhaps the small mezzanine 'bedroom' above the lounge was not ideal, and its very steep stairs could be potentially dangerous to dogs and small children. The management staff were very helpful and explained that the temporarily broken WiFi (and smelly toilet) were out of their control, but it would have been nice to have been offered some compensation for this as we all had to use our phone data for the week. Just a word of warning to dog owners - the courtyard is covered by a beautiful vine. It is well looked after, but grapes frequently fall to the ground. They are very toxic to dogs so you have to be vigilant.

We paid over 2k for the week the toilet was smelly the cinema room damp beds old and uncomfortable Garden unkempt! Lounge and Kitchen ok The property needs upgrading if the owners expect to charge high end prices The description of the location fails to point out that the front door opens onto a car park

Plenty of space for 7 adults to find a quiet place on their own and then all eat, sit around chatting or watch a film together. Loads of parking as right on the car park and very short walk to the local cider shop!! Fantastic place!!!

House had many good points but kitchen needs attention especially the cooker for the class of property it is advertised as .

Amazing! Lovely host! Couldn’t have asked for a better place. We look forward to visiting again

We had to contact the owner each day we were there due to the incredibly bad smell that came from the main bathroom on the first floor. This then spread into the main living space as well as the kitchen. We were communicated with but this was not resolved. The showers downstairs then also leaked when we all had to use these.

What a fantastic weekend we had. Thank you. Lots of space, the lounge was very comfortable, lots of space to sit down as a family for meals etc. The kitchen was adequately stocked with every day stuff but take your own roasting tins etc if you are planning to cook meals. The bunk beds are not suitable for adults so I’d say this is a sleeps 6 adults four kids personally. Also there are two double beds and two singles as the other beds. The double were a bit small for us, just because we are used to bigger so we found the beds were a bit cramped. But that is a personal view. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen is a bit tired and in need of redecoration soon but that did not detract from our stay in the slightest! The complimentary cake and bottle of wine were a great touch! Easy to park right outside the door and walk into town and to the beach.
