Moy is a cosy cottage in a stunning location! You are immersed in nature and have breathtaking views from morning until night. Local shops and restaurants are not far away. There are amazing historical sites close by and beautiful sandy beaches. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner and had the most wonderful time.

Absolutely delighted with our week spent at Moy cottage! Everything you could possibly need and want is there. The cottage is very cosy and bright, well appointed and everything well thought out. I cannot praise the accommodation, the location and the lovely people enough! Of course we had glorious weather and this helped even more! Beautiful sunsets from the living-room large windows and French windows, really fabulous to wake up to the beauty and calm of the area! Went home with lovely sausages and bacon from Nancy's farm, and have just sampled them today! Tasted great! Thank you, Caroline and Nancy, for your friendly welcome. A place to definitely keep in mind for the future! My dad (from France) was very impressed. Christine

A lovely cottage with fantastic views. Extremely comfortable and warm. The only down side to the cottage is the long single track road to reach it - a bit unnerving when you are not used to driving on them.

The drive to Moy cottage is not for the faint hearted and it is not for anyone looking for lots of pubs and restaurants but if you are looking for a bit of time away from it all with spectacular views and lovely walks I could not recommend Moy enough. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, especially considering we had booked it early in the year and at one point they were predicting snow at Easter and that was the making of our holiday. Sitting out on the patio with a glass of red wine and the view over Loch Sween was honestly heavenly. The cottage itself was scrupulously clean and came with everything you could need right down to a corkscrew ( A bit lucky considering we had forgotten to pack one). We had taken the dogs and even apart from the lovely walks we were able to take them on were quite happy pottering around the garden and surrounding woodland. At night when they were completely knackered they fell asleep at the patio doors looking out onto the hills, I'm not sure if they were guarding or they just enjoyed the views as much as we did. I could honestly wax lyrical about it all day but on a more practical note it is best to take all your food and drink with you, we did drive into Lochgilphead which is lovely and has lots of nice little arty shops etc but I don't fancy having to do it at night just because I forgot the toothpaste.

The cottage is rather tired in comparison with other holiday cottages we have stayed in . It needs quite a bit of upgrading.
