The location of the cottage is great as the woods are just behind it making it ideal for walking the dog. The cottage however is quite dated & in need of some TLC. There is a good few things wrong that have been mentioned in reviews over a number of years that have not been rectified, such as the double bed mattress which is lumpy & has broken springs, the bottom tray in the fridge has been melted at some time & is held on with tape we put milk in the fridge & it fell out onto our feet just as well it was not the wine, dishwasher bottom tray has wheels missing & is difficult to move when loaded with dishes. The freezer in the garage was filthy inside with bits of old food etc we had to wash a couple of trays so we could use it. The back yard badly needs swept & there is moss growing through the door mat. The rest of the grounds could be nice but the grass had not been cut for quite some time with parts of the garden overgrown with weeds as is the gravel and bushes badly need trimmed. We found the BBQ in the garage,it was full of ash & old charcoal and the grill was filthy from previous use luckily I had put my small one in the car so we were able to BBQ. We visit cottages regularly but have never been to one so poorly presented, we will not be back & would not recommend it

Had a lovely holiday in this warm, comfortable and well-equipped cottage. We found the double bed to be rather low, but slept well.

Lovely cottage, for adults, kids and dog. We loved it.

We felt it was a lovely cottage but needs updating

We visited Culcharry cottage 12 yrs ago & decided to revisit. It is a lovely cottage and grounds, it could do with a little updating in some areas. Main bedroom mattress not good for anyone with back issues & bed is very low. Fabulous big bathroom

What a wonderful Christmas in a beautiful surrounding. Again, stunned by the beauty of Scotland. Culcharry cottage is a lovely (but a little outdated) cottage, nearby Inverness and Culloden Battlefield. The cottage was nicely decorated for Christmas, it was clean and tidy, the beds are very good. Careful with the shower, it turns cold after two people showering. Had a very nice dinner in the Castle Tavern, just 3 miles away. We are looking forward visiting this cottage again and see how it is in summer.

A really lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and more. I highly recommend it!
