We had a great time at Culquhasen despite slightly poor weather. The lovely warm Rayburn in the living-kitchen was very cosy and welcoming. Very friendly host who was easy to contact about a minor problem which was attended to straight away. Lots to do and see locally and would like to go back

We spent two great weeks at Culquhasen. The cottage is very comfortable, roomy and well equipped. The owner, Sandy, was at the farm buildings on most days and was very helpful. The area is beautiful; there is lots to do from pottering around gardens, castles and deserted beaches, to climbing in the Galloway hills and cycling on empty roads and forests. We even managed a day trip to Belfast as foot passengers on the ferry from Cairnryan.
