We were a group of six friends enjoying a week together. Dairy House Farm is a beautiful, very old house which has been updated to include lovely bathrooms and kitchen, while maintaing many original features. The owner provided a welcome hamper and toiletries, which was a really lovely touch. Access is along narrow country roads, so only come if you don't mind reversing! I'd definitely recommend this house.

A party of 11 adults, we spent a fabulous weekend at this lovely house. Extremely clean, wonderful facilities including complimentary toiletries in every bathroom. A welcome basket with wine, chocolates and biscuits was another lovely touch. The hot tub was a lovely place to relax and we were very lucky with the weather as two of the 3 days were gorgeous. Location was quiet and peaceful and views were amazing. We spent time canoeing at Rudyard Lake which was only a few minutes away, followed by ice-creams from the cafe overlooking the lake. Great evening meal on the Saturday at the Lazy Trout just a few miles away. Andrea was very helpful when we needed any advice. Genuinely couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Andrea for letting us stay at this lovely house.

Absolutely horrified at how we were treated. Spent months preparing and saving for a great weekend away. On the second morning we were awoken by the owner having entered into our occupation and shouting at the top of her voice to wake us up, argue with us, claim we damaged her hot tub cover and demand we covered £1000 worth of expenses, accidentally slip up that she had over booked the 3rd night and then randomly and suddenly give us 30 minutes to evacuate the premises a day earlier. Not only was our holiday cut short but we are all traumatised at the fact we were woken up at 9am by the lady having let herself in our home shouting ‘hello’ on repeat to then scream in our faces
