Really lovely cottage with a beautiful garden. Large enough to easily accommodate 8 adults with plenty of ground floor rooms to allow a bit of space for everyone.

Such a fabulous place to unwind, relax, and breath in that wonderful Yorkshire air. Everyone was uber friendly and very welcoming. the walks from the cottage were superb, and the public transport (although limited) was reliable. Massive thanks to Elaine & Dave (cottage owners) and Mark (local garage) for also accommodating an unforeseen emergency with our car with plenty of smiles and no fuss. The local cab firm Country Cars was also a superb guy.

An excellent house for our party of six. Handy for walking in the Esk Valley, on the Moors or along the coast. Well equipped with plenty of space.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area of the country Could do with a few more bits and bobs in the kitchen eg for baking Couldn’t use the stove in the lounge as it apparently doesn’t draw properly, however the kitchen stove was lovely. Some of the decor is a bit dated but overall in good condition. Owners were lovely Great value for such a roomy house, great for groups to spread out and relax Garden is great, conservatory also fab. Pub, railway station and post office/store in walking distance but still a very rural location

The cottage was a lovely place to stay and was well heated! As a group we appreciated the wifi and comfort of the rooms. It would be really useful if some little extras such as cling film were readily available in the cottage.

Excellent family winter break in this spacious cosy property. Easy access to Whitby and the coast as well as the moors and lots of great village pubs. Glaisdale village has a very steep narrow access that is a bit challenging in winter. Look forward to returning in the summer.

Was a very nice cottage and great for playing hiding seek with the kids. The only downside was that the internet (Wi-Fi) was very intermittent.

A clean comfy cottage, lots of space and equipment. As we stayed end of October could not take full advantage of the garden but it would be good in warm weather.
