Beautiful cottage with excellent amenities. Although really close to Scarborough it is in a small village that is really rural with sounds of birdsong so special.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location and very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen opened straight out onto an enclosed garden which was great for our dog. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely Easter break at Derwent Cottage which is beautifully appointed and has everything you could need. The surrounding landscapes and views are spectacular and the walks from the doorstep were great. Our little boy and dog had a blast as well. Friendly and helpful owners just next door, we certainly plan on going back!

The cottage is really lovely just a little bit small. Just a few little things. Some smaller cups would be good. A curtain at the front door would help for slight draught . But other wise really great. The hostess is brilliant and we had some nice treats left for us. We recommend .
