A very comfortable and relaxing environment in an excellent location. Many places of interest in close proximity. We had an excellent stay and would be happy to revisit at some point in the future.

Dess Lodge is a lovely property in a good geographical location but, being alongside the main road, was sometimes noisy. There were just a few small issues but, on the whole, we enjoyed our stay in a clean unique property that was very comfortable. Very helpful owners.

The cottage is lovely, very warm when heating on and we made use of the open fire. November stay so did get chilly overnight once heating went off. Road is a little noisy first thing in the morning but not a problem if you are used to road noise. Perfect location and the lovely Slug of Dess Waterfall is walking distance from the Lodge with the Deeside Way also on your doorstep. Plenty of shops a short drive away. Overall really enjoyed our stay and ran out of time to get everywhere visited so may have to go back!
