One of these, The Dairy, is a beautifully converted former farm building that has been lovingly restored to the highest standard. This two-bedroom cottage combines original charm with contemporary style, featuring slate flooring throughout the ground floor and a spacious open-plan living area. A log burner adds extra warmth and cosiness, while the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare home-cooked meals. The Dairy comfortably sleeps up to four guests, with a cot and highchair available on request. Outside, a private sun terrace offers an ideal spot to relax and enjoy far-reaching views of the countryside.
Guests staying at Devon Farm Holidays can also enjoy access to a shared games building, which includes facilities such as table tennis and a football table—perfect for both kids and adults. Our location makes a great base for exploring the nearby Cathedral City of Exeter, as well as the wild beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. The beaches of North Devon and Cornwall are also within easy reach. For those seeking a more active break, we can help arrange a range of activities including horse riding, surfing lessons, and sculpture classes.
Set on our 200-acre grassland farm, Devon Farm Holidays offers the chance to experience rural life first-hand. We raise award-winning Pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle and Poll Dorset sheep using environmentally friendly practices, encouraging a rich habitat for wildlife such as hares, deer, and bees. Guests are welcome to meet our cows, sheep, and chickens and learn more about our approach to sustainable farming. After a day of adventure or relaxation, unwind in one of The Dairy’s two modern bathrooms—one featuring a luxurious Japanese soaker Jacuzzi bath—and enjoy the peace and beauty of the Devon countryside.
