This was our second stay and we weren't disappointed. It is everything you'd want for your holiday, from peace and quiet to lots of activities! Lovely welcome gifts on arrival and the weather was kind to us. We will be going back!

Would certainly recommend this cottage. We met both owners who were so friendly. The welcome pack was an unexpected treat. The accommodation is a barn conversion so plenty of space for families. The place was clean and well looked after. The village pub does great meals including catering for vegetarians and acts as a local shop but the small town of Bala is just a short drive away as well with all the usual shops and restaurants. This is a great base to get out exploring all that Snowdonia has to offer and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Location and views are stunning. But cleanliness is awful. Dust and webs are everywhere. Bed mattresses are also not comfortable at all.

We had a lovely time, just us and the sheep! Large accommodation, bigger than expected, plenty of room even for a family of 7. We visited the family farm which the kids loved! The owners are lovely and very accommodating. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Lovely converted barn. We chose the wettest weekend in 2018. Still had a great time walking from the house into the hills. Great, thanks.

We rented this cottage as old friends who were at college together, an annual reunion. It was the perfect location for this, we were able to walk locally and to explore the wider area by car. We went to th local pub (the Eagle) to eat one night and had a warm welcome and a hearty meal of local lamb. The weather was mixed but did not bother us, November after all! There were a few minor niggles: we struggled with lighting the ovens and grill: there was a lack of bedside lights downstairs : the beds were a bit on the hard side : an ovenglove and dish cloth would have been useful. Otherwise fine. we loved the wood burner yet the weather was so mild that we hardly needed it.

Fantastic for our needs; wanted a centrally located place to explore from with 2 nine year olds and an eleven year old. Loads of activities a short car journey (less than an hour) away. Climbed Snowdon, fishing, paddling in river, Fforest park, kayaking on lake Bala to name but a few. The house was great, well equipped, comfortable, clean and plenty of room (mind your head on the beams if you are in the upstairs bedroom!). Owners very nice and we appreciated the small gifts on arrival. Bala has pretty much everything you need - pubs, curry house, co-op etc. Local pub is a short walk and apparently does good food, although we did not eat there. A keeper for me and I hope to return in the future on a similar type of holiday!
