We enjoyed our stay at Dovecote, situated in the centre of the small town of Wooler, on the edge of the Cheviots. The property , on 3 floors, is well equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, with useful extras eg. hairdryer. The owners were very helpful when contacted. You haven't got the advantage of parking outside the door, but do have a wonderful, peaceful property to stay in.

The only drawback with the cottage was not being able to park outside, but it was beautifully decorated and refurbished, and very well eqipped. Wooler is a nice little town very centrally situated between the coast and the National Park.

Absolutely lovely house. The only downside was the very soft mattresses. Otherwise no reason to grumble. Love this place!

A well maintained cottage, heating system amazing, lovely big bathroom, comptable bed.... lovely lounge on second floor, there is a nice village within walking distance pubs restaurants a few shops Co op nearby, there are plenty of places to visit within 30 minutes drive, I must mention the locals are very friendly which was nice. The only negative is the parking as you have to find a space away from cottage....you just can't have it all.

Dovecote was faultless. A simply cosy cottage which has everything you need to enjoy a week away. Very well equipped, spacious, spotlessly clean, excellent location and very warm and welcoming. Will definitely return.
