The renowned Attadale Gardens which are open to the public in season are clearly visible on the far shore. The living room is warm and welcoming with a large wood burner and a 42” wide screen TV. A wonderful cottage in a very quiet area. The cottage is very warm and the bedding and towels were fresh and clean. Locally, there is a superb community cafe which serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Carron Pottery is a particularly quaint shop with a really good cafe adjoining. The roads leading to Strath Carron however have some fierce pot holes so beware. Once you know about them it is a more pleasurable drive. Highly recommended.

Cosy, warm house in stunning location. Well equipped but might be a bit cramped in living room if 5-6 people staying. Comfortable bed and great shower.

The pictures dont do justice to this holiday home. We stayed in November when the weather was cold and we were lovely and warm. The location is ideal for local and touring . We saw a lot of supermarket van so we guess they will deliver.

We had an excellent time! If you’re looking for a relaxing and friendly village, Lochcarron is a lovely place to be. The cottage is on Croft Road, which is above the main street that runs by the lochside. The Main Street has a pretty well stocked Spar, a garage, a Bistro and a Hotel. It also has a brilliant family run cafe, hearty food at good prices cooked and served by lovely friendly people. The cottage itself is warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable; it has everything needed as a home from home. There’s an enclosed garden, which our dog loved! And there also a loch view. It’s a relatively easy walk down to the Main Street, either the “longway” down the lane, or down one of the 3 shortcut paths directly to the village main street. These might be a wee bit steep for some. Looking further afield, the cottage is a good base for visiting Skye, Applecross , Plockton and other areas. We’d definitely like to return! 

Nicest cottage we have stayed in, very well equipped and comfortable. Location lovely looking over the Loch but away from the main road so you are in peace and quiet.

A lovely welcome from the owners on arrival. The cottage was well situated and had everything you could want. The utility area was great for the dog too. An incredibly relaxing cottage with a warm feel. Lovely views from all the windows.
