Please note There is open access to a stream in the garden.\n This attractive detached cottage offering spacious holiday accommodation furnished and decorated to a good standard is set on the seashore just 15 yards from the shingle beach sand at low tide just outside of Pirnmill. From most of the rooms and the conservatory you have fantastic sea views over the Kilbrannan Sound towards Kintyre and guests can enjoy the evening sunsets. You can easily walk to the shop and restaurant 0.25 miles. From nearby Lochranza with its facilities restaurants and the distillery you can take the short ferry trip to Claonaig and explore a piece of Kintyre. The Isle of Arran has long since been a playground for the Scots its topography resembles that of a miniature Scotland - a mountainous north and rolling pastoral south. Arran has many outdoor activities in peaceful countryside surroundings. The wildlife is outstanding with deer pheasant otter and eagle readily seen in the mountains. There are seal colonies near coastal caves trails and pathways to mysterious Bronze Age stone circles and many relaxing angling hours to be enjoyed by streams or sea. 7 golf courses tempt the golfer whilst history and heritage is catered for at Brodick Castle and various museums.     Lovely cottage in a very quite location. The local shop sells everything you could need and within walking distance. The gardens were well enclosed and great for the children and the dog. Beach opposite was used many times. The cottage itself was plenty big enough for 4 adults, 3 children and a large dog. Clean, comfortable and he kitchen was well stocked. Would recommend to friends and family

    Absolutely stunning cottage in an enviable location right on the beach. Cottage was very spacious and well equipped with high quality furnishings. The only let down was summer thickness bedding in winter. Also the downstairs double wasn't actually a double but 2 separate single mattresses on a bed frame with single bedding on each mattress. This wasn't really great for a couple. This was the only niggle however.

    This lovely cottage is beautifully cared for locally on behalf of the owners. Lovely setting and well placed to explore the island. Well equipped kitchen made self catering a dream.....Only downside is that beds are small and shower pressure is poor. Also parking area is on the other side of the road which would have worried me had we had our grand children with us.
