A fabulous, well equipped cottage in a gorgeous setting. Hosts are very attentive, nothing is too much bother and they provide a very generous welcome pack. Perfect location for exploring the North East. I would highly recommend a visit.
Lovely well appointed cottage had everything you could ask for when looking for a relaxing break.
Nice quiet setting yet close to Durham for shops and within easy reach of A1 and A19 for quick travel around the region to places like Beamish a must see.
Owner could not have been more friendly and welcoming and the addition of a well stocked gift basket was a really lovely touch.
I’d have no hesitation in strongly recommending this cottage for anyone visiting the area.
This was an excellent cottage, well equipped, clean, fresh and 5 star standard. The hosts were excellent providing a very generous welcome pack and happy to meet our needs - Jean and Amie were very pleasant, helpful and keen to make our stay the best. The location was great with easy access to Durham, Sunderland and the coast. Cottage is well located in the countryside but close to shops and amenities. Would recommend it and most likely to use it again as we have family nearby. Thank you again to Jean and Amie
A beautifully clean cottage in a lovely location. Rural enough to be relaxing whilst still being within 5 minutes of local shops. Jean and Amy made us feel incredibly welcome (the food basket was a lovely touch). Would definitely recommend this cottage and will probably be back in the near future as it was so lovely.
Great place to stay. The owner is helpful and the welcome pack is the best we’ve ever had. The cottage is more spacious than the photos suggest and is an excellent base for exploring the local area.
Made most welcome and Jean and her daughter Amy were excellent hosts and went that extra mile to ensure your holiday was a success. The accommodation was superb and the cleanliness beyond reproach.
Excellent, Jean and Amy were very helpful and Dad and I have had a good weeks holiday.
