Surrounded by natural woodland it boasts spiral staircases and a charming partly enclosed balcony overlooking the river and weir. Ideal for large families and group get-togethers situated in the enchanting hamlet of Erbistock perfectly placed for peace. The holiday property provides an ideal touring base for the Vale of Llangollen and beyond with plenty of places to see and things do for all the family. Initial feeling when we arrived wasn't great, however, once we got settled in we loved it. The accommodation isn't fancy but there is most things you need. The staircase could be a problem but our 5, 3 and 2 year old were fine. There is a coin meter that we weren't aware of, which I wish I had then I would have taken some pound coins ! The surrounding area is breathtaking. The Mill is steeped in history. The Cross Foxes pub at the bottom of the road were very welcoming when we turned up cold and thirsty after a small local walk. Lovely open fire to warm your feet on.

A great weekend away for our board gaming group. The cottage could do with some updating so isn’t the most comfortable for those looking for luxury, but is great for larger groups.

Brilliant location and nice old fashioned mill. It has everything you need. The owner is very helpful and replied to all emails I sent with lots of questions. Would definitely recommend. From this location I recommend visiting the tallest waterfall in Wales and the aquaduct is a must see.
