Chosen for location and en-suites for the elderly parents, but also got a lovely, spacious and comfortable house. The kitchen was well stocked, even down to dishwasher tablets and cooking oil. Thoughtful welcome pack of bread, milk, cookies and wine!

Everton is in the centre of Bakewell, opposite a lovely park and you can walk through it by the river into town. A great location for all the family to enjoy. Excellent parking at the cottage a bonus. Very well equipped kitchen and more than ample bathrooms. Beds very comfortable too much appreciated. An enjoyable and relaxing time had by all the family, we hope to return.

Beautiful house in excellent location but still practical enough to accommodate our under-2-year-old. Just a minute or two from Bakewell centre and right opposite park with excellent playground for little ones (says there is water play there in summer). Really lovely house with lots of nice touches. Did walks right from the house along Monsal Trail and lots of local footpaths. Chatsworth was great day out with amazing playground and farm for our toddler. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely, clean, well equipped home. Location is good however it is on a busy road and next to a petrol station. That aside we had a wonderful weekend stay at Everton. The hosts provided us with a welcome back which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfy and the standard of furnishings and decoration was to a very high standard. I would highly recommend this property.

A great stay, very convenient location especially with the dogs. Well equipped kitchen & facilities. Only shame was the amenities in Bakewell where at this time of year there is limited pubs that take dogs open for food in the evening...not the owners fault of course and would be different in peak season I’m sure!

Three couples and a dog stayed over Xmas week and had a fabulous time. The house is in a fabulous location which suited all of us who are of varying ages, abilities and interests. Its well appointed and comfortable for 6/7 people. There are two ensuite bedrooms both with showers and bathroom upstairs and full large bathroom downstairs. While there we had a problem with one of the ensuite toilets which I reported on boxing day but never expected it to be looked at for couple of days however within a couple of hours it was repaired!!! Thank you Mr and Mrs Smith. A lovely welcome pack and card greeted us a lovely touch.

Beautifully decorated and furnished, exceptionally well equipped, a real home from home. The location is excellent with a park opposite which is great if your party includes children or dogs and the centre of Bakewell is only a five minute stroll away. The welcome pack which was inclusive of a chilled bottle of wine was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Everton Cottage.
