Really disappointed with this cottage after so many cottage holidays. The location is beautiful and peaceful and close to visit the towns of Newport and Cardigan. The cleanliness was a little disappointing. All the pans and crockery had to be washed before we could use them and there is a problem with mice. Which we thought was only in the cupboards until we found mice droppings on the bed side tables next to where we had been sleeping. It was requested to call the cleaning company to report cleaning problems but with no phone signal this was not possible.

While this cottage was in a lovely location and the cottage was clean and comfortable I was not happy that I hadn't been told about the shower not working- because I can't physically sit down in a bath I couldn't have a proper wash all week , I booked this cottage because it had a shower and the fact that I wasn't notified on booking frankly is not on ! I have found out since that these problems have been going on for some time

Ty Bach is a beautiful cottage situated in a rugged unspoilt countryside. The cottage was a great base for exploring the surrounding areas of Pembrokeshire; the coast and beaches are stunning (miles of golden sand). We loved watching seals and pups at Deer Haven, Stumble Bay and visiting Tenby (a picture perfect town). The cottage itself is a lovely flint building and the kitchen is well equipped (just a bit dated). The place was generally clean but could do with furniture being moved during cleaning as fairly dusty behind some furniture. The shower head needs replacing as was just a dribble of water but we worked round it as had baths, or used jugs. However, a replacement shower head is a simple fix and should be easily sorted. We didn’t let it bother us much as the cottage was lovely base; beds were really comfortable and it is very pleasant. We would stay again as it’s a beautiful site; the grounds are full of flowers and very picturesque. The owner introduced herself at the start but we were so busy visiting the amazing Pembrokeshire sites that we didn’t have much time at the cottage but it was a lovely base and we would be happy to stay there again

Ty Bach is a lovely place, particularly the surrounding gardens. The beds and living room are comfy and everything works. The rusty old barbecue needs renewing and the shower is more of a dribble but these things didn't matter too much to us.

Ty Bach is one of four cottages set in a hamlet- totally stunning. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness it needed a good spring clean. Certain items need to be replaced with new- kitchen work tops, kettle, place mats, lounge curtains, and it would benefit from a coat of paint. Beautiful cottage , picturesque location, very cosy and comfortable. Exellent location for travelling and enjoying walks

In places the cottage is very tired, kitchen in particular. Appliances and cabinets all appear old. A lack of kitchen scissors was an annoyance. In the living area the sofas were small (for a family of 4), and also quite uncomfortable. Bedrooms seemed the wrong way around with the double bed being in the smaller of the rooms. This was also very hard and uncomfortable. The main problem though was the hot water. There was barely enough to run a bath - and it would literally run out, as in water stop coming out of the taps. Also the hot water was timed to come on overnight, whereupon the system made an amazing amount of noise, making it impossible to sleep. Outside the cottage and gardens have plenty of character and the setting is lovely. However parking for our family estate was awkward, and necessitated a lot of reversing.

Excellent place for our dog and us. Very peaceful with grounds to walk for hours. Nearest pub was 2 miles away but very friendly to us and very dog friendly. Our cottage was very spacious clean and all we could have hoped for. It's the best break we have had for years. Thanks very much Robert and Caroline and of course Rosie our dog.
