The house all except the Amdega conservatory dates back to 1840 and is full of character and is one of three properties converted from a previous Country House Hotel but has been redesigned for the 21st century and much use has been made of Laura Ashley fabrics and furnishings. \nThe semi-detached house is of an open plan design consisting of a fully equipped kitchen and spacious lounge and two delightful en-suite bedrooms with wonderful views across the valley towards Wansfell Pike. Immediately outside the house is a lovely patio complete with garden furniture and benefiting from stunning views.     My family had I had a very enjoyable break in Ambleside, made so much better by this amazing cottage. Comfort, style, location and value are all 10/10. Stunning views, from every window as well as from the garden terrace and so close to all the amenities... we will be back. The only problem we had was with the central heating, but they were happy to help this was sorted very quickly.
