    > These two holiday properties, The Mill ref OM3 and The Stable ref OM4, are on the same site as the beautiful conversions of traditional Welsh long barns Tan Y Dderwen (Under The Oak, ref OZV), Beudy Bach (Little Cowshed, ref OZW) and Gwel-Y-Llyn (Lake View, ref OZX). The Mill is a converted mill, furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard, keeping its traditional style with a touch of class. It offers an ideal holiday base for friends and family. The Stable is a beautiful stable conversion situated in a 23-acre private estate which boasts magnificent views of the countryside and private lakes. Located in a tranquil setting surrounded by rolling countryside, these wonderful family properties boast character and all the comforts for the perfect countryside holiday. Close to the borders of both mid and south Wales, the properties provide perfect accommodation ideally placed for exploring the dramatic Ceredigion coastline where bottlenose dolphins are often seen.
The picturesque fishing town of Aberaeron is only six miles away with its large harbour encased by pastel-shaded Georgian houses. A short drive inland leads to the rural and traditional towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, where the Welsh language is mostly used by the locals. Tregaron feels almost untouched by the 21st century and is a bastion of the Welsh language and culture. The river running through the town centre leads to Cors Caron, a national nature reserve of peat bog which is one of the most impressive wildlife areas in Wales; home to rare marsh grasses, black adders, buzzards and even the occasional red kite. A perfect opportunity to discover the real Wales. Shops 3 miles, pub in village.

Really lovely accommodation although a few pieces of equipment needed fixing. Loved the hot tub. Great location quiet but not too far to travel to some lovely places. Really loved New Quay where we saw dolphins swimming and the children loved the beaches.

This is in a lovely spot & the stable we stayed in was really nice. However, the owners let themselves down by not including any basic amenities such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets or kitchen roll. Some of the rooms even ran out of loo paper. We also ran out of hot water when having a shower & there was only 6 adults & 2 small children in a 5 bedroom house. Overall a really nice place & location but the owners let themselves down by being cheap with the amenities.

We found the accommodation to be of an excellent standard. We were a little disappointed with the WIFI, which was a little hit and miss. It's always a little bit of a shock to find out that we were paying almost double the rent compared to the week before. I suppose that's the penalty for taking a holiday during the school holidays. Overall the Stables were a great place to stay. The weather was poor but that's just bad luck. I would recommend the Stables to other people, just not during a school holiday period.

An excellent place to stay with lots of room, just felt it was lacking in the small touches ie no spare loo rolls , no dishwasher tablets , only one tea bag ,no sugar or coffee.

This was our 3rd stay at The Stables and yet again it did not disappoint. The property is kept in excellent order. The addition of the hot tub is an added bonus. The view from every window is beautiful. There was plenty of space for 3 generations of our family. The kitchen is well equipped as always. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The owner called when the power was switched off by the power company. When this altered the central heating timer we had to call the owner. They came to the property immediately and helped us to reset it. We hope to be back again next year as we have only scratched the surface of wonderful things to do in the area.

A lovely weekend spent at The Stable cottage with family. The weather was great, which helped, as we enjoyed days out at New Quay and Aberaeron. The cottage was well equipped, clean and there was enough to keep our children amused. Very spacious accommodation in a nice quiet area. Mobile network signal was poor in the area and the wifi was spotty - not that this was a huge issue for us but it did prove frustrating when trying to make and receive telephone calls. All-in-all, a very nice cottage in a lovely part of the world.

Great week spent at this holiday cottage. Out of the way location, but plenty to do within an hours drive. Plenty of space for a family of 10 to spend some quality time. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely lovely stay in this beautiful property. We were here for the weekend and although the weather was not kind to us The Stable’s kitchen and fabulous open planned living area provided us with everything we needed when we returned from our daily outings! For a large family gathering The Stable is an exceptional venue and we will return.
