Cot highchair and stairgate. Doggy extras. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area garden furniture and gas BBQ. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome free of charge. Dog kennels available. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note The external stone steps have no handrail and there is an unfenced ford 55 yards from the property. \n Flowers Barn is a beautifully converted detached Cotswold stone barn still boasting many original features throughout. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Duntisbourne Rouse and Duntisbourne Leer. The name is taken from the River Dunt which flows through the village and also from monks at the Abbey of Gloucester who controlled the area in the 13th century. Flowers Barn is adjacent to the owners’ working farm and occupies a beautiful countryside setting.\nBuilt mainly in the time of Charles II Flowers Barn was once home to aspiring writer and farm owner Eliza in the early 18th century. Eliza came to inherit 420-acres of land off her father rather than one of her four brothers and dedicated her life to the farm. She was a very bright and keen horsewoman who was the first in the area to own a bicycle and a gas cooker. Eliza worked on the farm up until her death in 1901.\nThis is a perfect place to stay when in the Cotswolds being just a 10-minute drive from Roman Cirencester and 20 minutes’ drive from Cheltenham and its famous horse racing festival in March each year. There are plenty of walks and cycle routes for active guests and this is a very central position from which to visit the many beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds including Bourton-on-the-Water Bibury Burford Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden. Both Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are also a convenient drive away.\nThe accommodation provides upside down living with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and the living room and kitchen on the first floor. Outside there is a well-kept front garden with seating area and garden furniture. There is a driveway offering off road parking and a bike store can be made available should guests wish to bring their own bikes to leave the car behind and explore the area. A purpose-built dog kennel with a run is available if dogs get wet and dirty. Shop 4 miles pub and restaurant 3 miles. \n " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/139/840/1398685.jpg UKC2118

Lovely property very well placed to visit the Cotswolds. Excellently equipped kitchen, very good WiFi, very clean and lots of extra touches. Felt very welcome and owners were extremely helpful. Can walk from the door, relax in the lovely garden but also Cirencester, The Cotswold Water Park, Gloucester etc all close by. Forest of Dean less than an hour away. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again

We had a fantastic holiday in Flowers Barn and had a lovely welcome from the owner when we arrived. The cottage is well kitted out with everything you need. Lots of thought has obviously gone into making this place so comfortable and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

A lovely barn conversion in a peaceful location and very nicely decorated and accessorised by its charming owner. Comfortable beds, good showers, comfortable settees and chairs and a well equipped kitchen. We have already booked to stay again next year.

Very cosy and picturesque! There was plenty of space for 5 people, and we loved watching the sheep out the window, we'd definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful week at Flowers Barn - starting with a very warm welcome from the owner along with eggs from her very happy hens (huge yolks!), fresh milk and delicious biscuits. It was an extremely well appointed property with everything you could think of provided. We were also very grateful for the huge amounts of information available about places to visit, to eat out and the most comprehensive folder of local dog walks we've ever seen. We particularly enjoyed reading the history of the barn and seeing the photos of it's conversion into such a fabulous property. They've really done a great job in creating a characterful place with original features, balanced with very clean and modern facilities. It's in a beautiful location, very peaceful and feels as if it's miles away from the hustle and bustle but is actually less than 15 minutes by car to Cirencester for food shopping etc.

A beautiful and comfortable cottage with absolutely everything you need. Also happens to be very baby friendly!

Great holiday in a romantic cottage. Only downgraded slightly on location as you really couldn't do it without a car. The cottage was pretty and homely and Churri and Toby were very thoughtful host's leaving some cute little additions for the inquisitive quests 
