    The barn does need to have the following items: 1 local information for doctor dentist, hospital. 2 operating instructions for appliances, heating, TV, DVD player etc. The local contact, Mary, is a gem, warm friendly welcome and willingness to help with queries and heating.

    Martham is a lovely village and we loved the Norfolk countryside. However, for a 4star rated property we felt it was let down by ... not enough kitchen equipment, no lock on the second toilet door, poorly lit and the sofas in the lounge were uncomfortable.

    Little things are missing; no toilet holders so toilet rolls have to sit on the floor.Would have thought refuse bags would have been supplied. Lighting is inadequate at times although missing bulbs were replaced promptly. Not convinced about the efficiency of the underfloor heating; thermostats seem to be unreliable.
