Garden cottage is a peaceful haven. Just what the doctor ordered. Tina and Simon have put alot of effort in to make sure everything is just right for a relaxing break. Perfect location for visiting loads of attractions such as the lake District, Yorkshire dales and locally Penrith and Appleby. Would book again without hesitation.

A great central location for touring the area. We were lucky with the weather so able to do plenty of walking, sightseeing and taking in the stunning scenery. Lovely welcoming cottage, although a minor point that more food storage areas would be a bonus such as a vegetable rack. Helpful, friendly hosts including the cat!

We really enjoyed our week in garden cottage. Very peaceful in a wonderful rural setting. The weather was warm and sunny. Great fish and chips in Shap and great coffee and cakes in the Mill Yard Cafe in Morland. We would definitely recommend this cottage. E & T from N Ireland

In a very nice and peaceful village. The owners are very polite and helpful. The cottage itself feels like being at home. There is everything you need there. The garden is perfect for eating outside in fresh air. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to go there and relax.

Garden cottage is situated in the grounds of the owners property with a wonderful view of the Pennines looking in the direction of Appleby. The owners Simon & Tina are the perfect hosts who are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The cottage is very clean and well furnished with a brand new bathroom, and spacious bedroom. The living area and kitchen are upstairs affording a magnificent view. The kitchen is well equipped with all that is needed. There is wi-fi in the property via a TP link device boosting the signal from the owners property next door. As it is a rural location the Internet is not fast and the wi-fi not that reliable, but although it works with a strong signal, it disconnects frequently. This is not a criticism. The cottage is delightful and a fabulous base to tour the Eden Valley, North Pennines, the Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District. I had a lovely week and would definitely return, even the weather was kind!

Simon has a beautiful cottage. We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and well maintained. If you need groceries then plz buy them before hand as the nearest grocery store is 6-7miles away. The view from the cottage is amazing my son really loved sitting near the window and watching cows. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thank you to the host .
