    Welcoming hosts, and well appointed house, with plenty of space for four people. The grounds were ideal for the dog, a lovely walk round the property, safely fenced off from sheep. You do need to bring or buy simple necessities such as extra loo rolls and bin liners if staying longer than a few days. Ilam Park nearby, is a gem, and Dovedale is just 5 minutes by car. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a stay in this area.

    We had a wonderful week stay in the cottage. It is very clean, well equipped and we particularly enjoyed the grounds of the property - lots of space for kids to run around and logs to climb on! Great location for exploring the Peaks and we could walk from the cottage over a few fields to Dovedale or down the hill to Ilam hall. We hope to return next year!

    Very nice cottage, a pity about no mobile reception - still for a quite restful holiday it was great, there are plenty of things to do in the versinity but they do mean you have to drive quite a distance. But we enjoyed it.
