The charming village of Osmotherley with its village green is just 1 mile away and has excellent pubs with restaurants a general store and teashop. Local places of interest include Mount Grace Priory Rievaulx Abbey and the White Horse at Sutton Bank. Garden House is located in an ideal location for visiting the quaint market towns of Northallerton Thirsk and Helmsley the stately homes at Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall and the historic city of York. The Yorkshire Dales National Park and the coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough are all easily accessible.     Lovely cottage, well equipped and furnished and with a great view. Downstairs large copper bath a bit odd and definitely environmentally unfriendly, but upstairs en suites made up for it. Locally Mount Grace Priory well worth a visit. Would certainly recommend it to others.
