    Kitchen: With electric double oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine.
    Dining room: With wood burning stove and doors out onto the patio area.
    Lounge room: Again with door to the garden, multi-fuel stove and TV/DVD.
    Bedroom 1: With king size bed with wooden floor.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 2: With twin beds and some limited head height.
    Bedroom 3: With king size bed and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.

    All fuel, electric, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and highchair available. Fuel for fires available locally.

    Outside: large gardens with furniture provided. Wi-Fi internet access available. Please note: There are 4 steps in the garden.

    A mere three miles to the south of Windermere, Ings is a great location for enjoying a relaxing trip to the Lakes; close enough to enjoy the more popular tourist hotspots of Bowness and Ambleside but far enough away to benefit from the peace and quiet of a semi rural location. The quaint hamlet of Ings has good facilities, a local shop, garage and award winning pet friendly country pub, The Watermill, as well as some wonderful walking and cycling into the Kentmere Valley.
    Ghyll Close is a comfortable, modern home, spacious for six with two seating areas arranged around the wood burning stoves. Both rooms look out over the green gardens, ideal for holidaying outdoors whenever the weather will allow. Perfect for couples and families alike. Ghyll Close is particularly suitable for those with mobility difficulties as it offers a spacious king size bedroom and bathroom accommodation on the ground floor.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our only criticism of the cottage was the beds....each was very lumpy and uncomfortable making for restless sleeps. The location and facilities within the cottage were otherwise very good

    Ghyll Close is very comfortable, close to the heart of the Lake District yet the location is peaceful and lovely setting. There is everything a group of friends or a family could need for a wonderful holiday.

    Lovely cottage in a great setting a great pub and restaurant nearby also coffee shop selling all day breakfast and lovely cakes and scones, very easy to get a bus and leave the car behind. Only downside was the cleanliness when we arrived.

    The cottage is a good size and has great views. We had issues with the cleanliness of the property and its condition. The freezer was broken and contained perished food which we had to dispose of. The toilet leaked and the television wasn't working. The property smelled damp. The management team were very responsive and sorted these issues out for us.
