We arrived at the property quite late at night and were all very keen to explore our home for the Christmas week. This meant there was 11 of us roaming the house investigating all of the rooms turning on all the lights as we went. It was somewhat amusing when we found ourselves in complete darkness. The lights kept tripping the fuse. We contacted the property management company who very quickly arranged for an engineer to attend the property. After the first night it didn’t happen again.
This was our first time away at Christmas and being such a large family we were worried that the property might not have all of the pots, pans, crockery etc needed for the humongous Christmas Day feast we cook up, we were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was very well equipped.
The property is HUGE and perfectly suited our family of 11 people and 2 dogs. The kitchen / dining area was perfect for socialising as was the beautiful lounge, especially in the evening with the open fire roaring.
The house was always warm despite being right on the beach, we had a couple of really blustering days but you’d never of known it inside the house.
This brings me on to the location.... WOW the pictures do not show just how close you are to the beautiful sandy bay. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along with a hot cup of tea. It literally takes you 60 seconds to be out of the back gate and onto the beach.
Living in a big city our dogs don’t often get to experience the freedom of running on a beach but this is by far the most dog friendly beach space we’ve ever encountered. Dozens of dogs on the beach everyday.
The highlight of the property was the wonderful welcome package that had been left for us on top of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree amongst other festive decorations and the dining table all laid out ready for Christmas dinner. It all looked so beautiful, such a lot of effort had clearly gone in to it. There were a dozen wrapped gifts, 2 bottles of Buck’s Fizz, bottles of flavoured water, x2 doggy treat presents - even Christmas crackers on the table. It all was greatly appreciated. There was also tea, coffee, sugar & milk made available for us too.
The beds were super comfy and having fresh towels available saved us having to bring them from home.
Tucked away in the utility room was plenty of towels for when the dogs came in from the beach and dog blankets too (though we brought our own).
Everything you can imagine you’d ever need was available in this property.
The lines of communication between us and the property management folks was amazing (especially given it was Christmas time) and we cannot thank you enough for making us feel so welcome. We cannot wait to come back. Happy New Year to you all.

Our stay was excellent. We had a wonderful weekend with our family. The only thing which didn’t effect our stay but I’d worth noting for the owners is the dishwasher didn’t work or we couldn’t get it to work!

Fantastic location. Great size for a large family. Windows need attention, don't get much sleep with the rattling and the whistling! Driveway gates need attention, can practically not close them and this is necessary with young children and dogs, as they lead straight on to a busy road. Felt that due to these impracticalities and the overall look of the outside (broken patio furniture, broken toys and rubbish left lying around), that it was overpriced.

Absolutely loved this place. Both the house and location. It was so wonderful to open the windows and patio doors in the morning and hear the waves breaking on the shore and smell the sea air. The beach was fantastic too.
It's perfect for larger parties as there is a bathroom for each bedroom, and the kirchen was so well equipped. I would 100% recommend this place to anybody.

- The property is a great size with plenty of living space.
- The location of the house and views from the Living room were amazing.
- Local shops, pubs and ice cream within easy walking distance.
- Dog friendly beach within a short walk
- The bedding was clean but well worn and the pillows were so flat we had to use the spare towels and pillows to make a decent pillow.
- The balcony was dirty and we had to clean it before we could use it. There is no furniture on the balcony which was a shame as we had good weather.
- The only outdoor furniture were two bench seat tables which were good for eating on but no use for lounging around so we all had to use our towels to sit outside on the floor.
We had a great week away but the property is in need of some TLC / upgrade.

The house is in an amazing position and trearrdur is the perfect destination.
The house however isnt clean with previous occupants hair all over the floor, the balcony was dirty and the outside furniture broken and unusable. The bedding was well worn and the mattress protectors filthy, the beds are rock hard with flimsy pillows. Everyone struggled to sleep.
The house is in an amazing location but needs new beds, new outside furniture and a damn good clean!

We had a lovely week away with the family and the dog
The property is a good size and even though we were a large group everyone had plenty of space
The table was big enough to fit us all and there were plenty of plates. Glasses. Pans etc. Large oven so plenty of room to cook
What I would say is some of the beds were a little uncomfortable (too firm)
The property was not as clean as I expected and felt we left it cleaner than when we arrived (although that might be personal taste)
The grill does not work properly
Outside garden at rear and three bedrooms overlooking an amazing view however don’t think of using the barbecue as it is rusted over,buy a disposable one. Also some of the outside furniture was slightly broken
That said these are only small things that we could work around and we still had a great week away.
