What a lovely cottage! Everything was very neat and tidy, and the cottage had everything we needed. The garden was lovely too, perfect for a spot of tea in the afternoon! Thanks very much for a lovely weekend.

I would have given a better review if any consideration had been given to my one full day stay. Arriving Friday late afternoon to spend the Saturday with friends enjoying the garden was short lived by the arrival of the gardener and the petrol mower...no peaceful lunch in the garden for us..i ended up meeting them elsewhere for lunch. Understandably the grass needs cutting, normally a Friday the.information said, not the ONE day I booked for. also the cottage is situated next to a fairly busy road...something should be done about the loose manhole cover outside the property as a constant loud clatter every time a car drove over it day and night. The cottage was nice...peace and quiet ...definately a NOT on my stay...

Generally very well equipped but really does need a shower and Wi-fi in this day and age PAT test ? I ran a holiday letting agency for 15 years and would be pressing the owner on the above points

Overall a nice cottage to stay in for a night or possibly two. The bathroom lacks proper facilities for a family and the cottage lighting is very dull. The beams are low due to the character of the property which means that anyone above 5 feet will have to stoop the entire time they are in the cottage. There are many spiders and cobwebs inside the property. On the plus the surrounding area is very pretty and the garden is nice to sit out in.

Fantastic cottage with plenty of charm. Wonderful gardens and location was perfect. Only sheep for neighbours. Friendly local pub with good food and a handy shop too.

Brilliant. We needed some time out from our hectic lives. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped and our only neighbours were sheep, birds and rabbits. We loved it. Thank you x

The cottage was in a lovely setting. Problems were with the electrics - lamp wires twisted, wall lamps - shades burning if on for 30mins, switches flickered when turned on. A socket in the cloakroom adjacent to the toilet. Superficially clean but months old cobwebs, and very dusty under furniture, as was the bed frame in the master bedroom. Lovely garden , if a bit neglected. Wouldn't stay again as didn't feel safe due to the electrics. Should warn people of the low ceiling/eves in the bathroom above the toilet & sink.

Only problem was that the fridge was broken and our holiday had come to an end by the time it was repaired due to the bank holiday
