Throughout the year many events are held in the region including The Strathardle Gathering every August (Highland Games), The Etape Caledonia Cycling Event in May, The Perthshire Open Studios and The Blairgowrie Book Festival in October, which can be enjoyed whilst staying in this lovely property. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The lodge was perfect, Clean and spacious, with lovely trees all around, it was very peaceful. The bedroom was spacious with comfy king size bed. Kitchen was large with two fridges and a freezer. Lovely to see the deer and the cheeky squirrels from the large kitchen window. Lovely walks nearby, and we all loved the hot tub. If you book this lodge you will not be disappointed. All I can say is that a week is not long enough. Thank you.

We had a wonderful week at Glen Hideaway. The cabin is the most luxurious we've stayed in, spacious, well furnished and comfortable. It's set in beautiful surroundings, the broom and rhodies were out, looking amazing. There are walks right from the front door. The hot tub is tucked away and secluded. The cloakroom is perfect for mucky boots and drying off the dog, plus there was an outdoor tap to clean her off, if needed. It's one of the best places we've ever stayed. The wildlife was amazing too, on the first day we saw at least 20 deer when we had a wander up the road, and they regularly came down right to the house (and on the house! Freaked me out when I heard footsteps on the roof!) There were daily visits from red squirrels and lots of different birds too. We normally eat out most nights on holiday but it was so nice we stayed in and enjoyed the lovely house and gardens. If we ever return to Perthshire we would definitely stay again and I'll be recommending it to my friends and family.

We had such a lovely week at the cottage. The location was stunning, we loved being able to watch all the local wildlife such as red squirrels and deer, which visited the garden daily. The cottage was very homely and cosy with everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and log burner. We highly recommend Glen Hideaway, it is the nicest cottage that we have stayed at!

Absolutely loved this cottage and it’s surrounding area. So much wildlife just outside the door literally. Secluded but not isolated. Everything you need in the cottage and been done to a high standard. Comfortable bed. The walks straight from the door are perfect for dogs.

We had a lovely weekend - beautiful bright light clean cottage. Excellent what we were looking for! We loved the hot tub and the fire. The bed was very firm... which was fine, just personally prefer a softer mattress! And the smaller couch (sofa bed) kept sliding out so wasn’t very comfortable to sit on! However overall would recommend... and we hope to return! Thank you very much :)

A fabulous place, we felt instantly at home and comfortable. The squirrels, birds and deer were enchanting. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after a walk and the forest walks are well laid out. We really didn’t want to leave. Polly was lovely and it was reassuring to know she was at hand. What a great mini break.
