Excellent location for accessing Hadrian's Wall

    out of 10

We had a lovely long weekend with our three children at Glendale cottage. Phillip was a great host. We found we had everything we needed for short break, including the bonus of a lovely swimming pool which we could privately book for low cost. Great walks in the grounds and just a few minutes from amazing landscape and walk along Hadrians wall. All in all a fantastic short break.

Tv package was very basic and could do with improving.the booking of the pool was misleading as it was booked all the time.the main bed sank in the middle and to two back suffered was really uncomfortable.the high chair was very old.the cottage itself was very nice and clean.

An excellent, spacious cottage with outstanding views. The owners are very helpful and knowledgable of the surrounding area. The Roman Wall is a 5 mins drive away with plenty of walks. I will definitely return.
