This beautiful cottage is in a wonderful location being in quite an isolated spot and we would recommend a stay for anyone wanting to get away from it all. It was wonderful to wake up to unashamed peace and quiet. The views are across a gorgeous valley filled with ever changing wildlife. The cottage is modern with plenty of room and great gardens surrounding it. It has all the expected amenities so we never felt like we were missing anything crucial. We used the log burning stove for the cooler evenings and it just added some magic to our holiday. Combined with some lovely local food and a couple of bottles of good wine, you couldn’t ask for more. The road is very bumpy so be prepared for this, but it is well worth the extra care needed. We saw buzzards, red kites, hares, deer and numerous small birds on the feeders. We visited a few of the Royal Deesside towns and villages but spent most of our time doing a few walks around the cottage. This is an absolute gem and we’d recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful holiday in this immaculate and modern cottage, it is very remote (the only passing traffic we saw was a plane!), there is a local shop for essentials and lots of attractions in the area if you don't mind a short drive, we visited a Castle / Museum every day. Superb for the dog with gorgeous walks from the door. The views are breathtaking, we would love to return.

Had the most amazing week at Tornahatnatch cottage. Set in the most beautiful location, peace and quiet in abundance. The views were spectacular. The cottage itself is excellently equipped. We didn’t want for anything. Warm cosy and safe for our 2 toddlers. We will definitely be returning!!

Second time we have stayed here and lovely to see the estate in a different season. The garden is perfect for soaking in the views, with cows for company this time. The cottage is spacious and clean, with a well equipped kitchen. It's the perfect place for me.
