    Couldn't fault this cottage. Good for walking from, near a market town with everything in it. It was comfortable and warm. We had no cell coverage, but it internet so no real issues, but they are not the fault of the cottage owners, who very friendly.

    This was our second stay at Woodpecker Cottage, it is a very peaceful and secluded location. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage. We hope we will be able go back again soon.

    This is the second time we have stayed in Woodpecker cottage. It is a lovely place which is well kitted out with all the things you need. We loved seeing the calves in the field behind the garden and they became a big highlight of our week. There were also 3 very cute ducks which came to the patio door everyday to say hello which our daughter loved. We discovered this time round a beautiful little playground opposite the church which is just a short walk from the cottage. Very nice accommodation which was spotless when we arrived. Milk in the fridge and a lovely welcome card and some biscuits.

    It is in a quiet spot but only 5-10 minutes to Sherborne. We have used this on many occassions due to its location and on site tennis facilities. It is always clean and is well appointed. It is a restful spot for a good break away from the day to day hectic lifestyles we all seem to lead.
