    This fabulous property is located just outside Newtown and is surrounded by 360 degree views of the Mid Wales and borders rolling hills and mountains. This detached holiday home has everything that a family or group could need for their getaway, and is within a great location for those taking their pets on holiday as it has a large enclosed garden and a 2-acre field attached to the property. This property has a large entrance hallway, spectacular views from the conservatory, sleeps 8 guests over four bedrooms, with two of them boasting en-suite facilities, and one other bedroom with a shower. There is also a games room which enjoys a full-sized snooker table, and an additional room where your little ones can enjoy a play about on the Wii. Once your little ones have worn themselves out and are fast asleep in bed, spend an evening under the stars with your loved one, or friends, and immerse yourself in the private hot tub that sits in the garden, or even enjoy an al fresco supper, with the barbecue using the conservatory as a cover if necessary. Other outdoor activities include Glyndwrs Way and Hafren Forest, as well as walks and fishing along the River Severn, canoe hire, quad biking and mountain biking trails. Tourist attractions include Powys, Montgomery and Dolerw Castles, Welshpool and Llanfair Railway, Llyn Clyedog Dam, Lake Vwrnwy, Elan Valley and the Snowdonia National Park.     Lovely cottage in secluded location with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Friendly owners who were on hand to help when heating and hot water weren't initially working. Struggled to cook for 8 adults as few large pans, and tumblers a little limited; it would also be nice to have some plastic glasses to use around the hot tub. However, overall a lovely place that we'd consider going back to.

    No mention in description that main bedroom is in an annex, not on the first floor, which might be an issue, esp for families with children. Good sized bedrooms and yards of hanging space, but v few coat hangers and no drawers or any furniture on which to place things. So in some bedrooms clothes had to be left in cases or on the floor. Some of the mattresses are ready for replacement. The bedrooms could easily accommodate king sized beds, which are generally found these days in up market properties. Insufficient seating in living room. We were a party of six and glad there weren't eight of us. Lighting poor in living room and kitchen. The kitchen provided adequate plates, mugs and glasses, but a lack of most other kitchen items ( eg bowls, containers, butter dish, fruit bowl) made food storage and preparation, and protecting food from flies, difficult. Fridge too small for a large party. House was v clean. Beautiful views and garden. And hot tub worked well. This wd be an outstanding property but for the lack of amenities I've mentioned. The instructions describe the property as being sited on Beehive Lane. It might help visitors if the directions mentioned that Beehive Lane is not signposted from Bryn Lane. Having been advised not to use a satnav, we followed the directions given but had trouble finding Beehive Lane.

    If it’s views you’re after, then there is no better place than Green lane Cottage. Views from EVERY widow are stunning. It’s not too far from all amenities, but blissfully peaceful. We were a party aged 15 to 91 and it was perfect for us all. The hot tub was the best we had been in, all bells and whistles. The snooker table was great fun, even 91 year old Nan enjoyed it. The gardens are beautifully kept, perfect for our cocker spaniel and if necessary a little top up run in the field was on hand. Can’t recommend Green Lane enough. Thank you Nerys, we would love to return. Good for the soul.

    A lovely holiday home in a beautiful location with excellent views across the glorious Welsh countryside. Very clean and comfortable. The owner was friendly and quick to respond and provide a DVD player that was not available but listed . A big fully enclosed garden meant the dog was safe and happy, although sadly sheep and cows were in the 2 acre paddock which meant we couldn't use it to exercise him as we had hoped. Newtown had a good range of amenities and was easily accessed from the cottage.

    Great cottage with stunning 360 degree views, better than we expected. Many walks you can do straight from the cottage. Lovely Hot Tub which you can use whenever & the log burner perfect for cold evenings and mornings. A short drive from the town with lots of amenities and also in walking distance. Shame one of the lovely main bedrooms is seperated from the main property so bear this in mind as we was unaware.
