The cottage itself was quite nice but in my opinion it needed a good clean, visible dust and cobwebs everywhere and the cottage had a damp smell about it. The hot tub was lovely and someone from the holiday park next door came every day to do a chemical check but it wasn't topped up with water and the hose had been removed - I understand the chemical content has to be correct so adding water yourself could be detrimental but they should understand that when staying with children a considerable amount of splashing occurs so the water levels dropped, also the cover was broke so it was leaning on one of the outdoor chairs and very difficult to move. Anyone going should know it is literally in the middle of no where!! No local shop and really tight country roads leading to the property. Using the facilities of the neighbouring holiday park was good - we used the pool most days, there is a restaurant, outdoor play area and very small arcade.

Good quality accommodation but could have been cleaner. Cobwebs in almost every corner, and dust in easy to see areas. Did request 2nd bedroom be made a double but on arrival beds still singles. Having stopped the previous year we expected same quality as it was spotless also a welcome pack with milk coffee, biscuits but not this year. Jacuzzi also slightly disappointed with as bracket that enables lid to be folded then tipped away had been removed as probably broken by another guest, this meant lifting and sliding a rather heavy lid away so we could use it. ( my wife had no chance if I was not around in doing this).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenacres. We had everything we needed for our first weekend away. The cottage was very secluded so it was quiet and peaceful. We booked mainly for the hot tub which was great, we managed to go in when it wasn’t raining, but we think there should a gazebo or some sheltering from the rain to go in more. We appreciated the welcome pack, which was a very nice gesture and unexpected! We would definitely recommend and be coming back next year!
