A poorly maintained property for 10 people with dining seating for 8! Not very clean and loose fittings in bathrooms. Excellent location but couldn't recommend this to others unless a lot of care, cleaning and maintenance took place. Very nice touches for dog care and welcome pack.

Fantastic house, beautiful location and well equipped for the family and the furry friends - we will be back!
The main house is great space for the family and pets, well equipped with four good sized bedrooms, living room to chill in and a well equipped kitchen if you don't want to eat out. The anexxe is fantastic, pool table to keep the kids entertained a bedroom bathroom and kitchen too! The view from the balcony is superb. Looking forward to coming back, the main beach at treardur is a few minutes walk away. Loved it
We had a lovely time, the cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, like home from home. Also constant hot water, and the cottage was lovely and warm the whole time we were there. The games room in the annex was great, we had a lot of fun there. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed at Gwelfor in Dec 2018 / Jan 2019 to celebrate a 70th Birthday and had an absolutely fabulous time. We are a family of 7 and ages ranged from 13 to 70. We also had two dogs.
The property is in a beautiful location with access to a rocky section of the beach directly across the road from the property and access to the large sandy beach a 5 minute walk from the property.
There was plenty of space for parking on the driveway with a small garden to the front and larger garden to the rear. The house itself was very spaceous and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The house had a “lived in” homely feel which in turn meant we were extremely relaxed in the property. The games room with pool table and table football was fabulous and kept the family entertained.
We really enjoyed our stay at the property and hope to stay again in the future.

The house is in a brilliant location but felt that a few things could be improved. The twin beds upstairs were very uncomfortable and the stairs are extremely noisy and slippy.
We were a party of eight plus dogs , we loved the cottage and the annexe and were very impressed with how well equipped it was .
The views in any weather are amazing .
On the whole the cleanliness was ok , but some areas need to be looked at and more diligence shown . Skirting boards and bannisters were stained and lots of dust bunnies in the corners .
This however did not spoil our experience and would definitely return .
The garden could be made more secure for dogs , low walls and flimsy gates were not adequate .
If these issues were resolved then Gwelfor would deserve perfect tens all over . Some great coastal walks and superb hospitality in all the local bars .
Very well sorted equipment in the kitchen and the entire house. Tastefull furnitures and a more than good number of linens and towels. The midterm service is compared to all other houses we had so far in Wales a unique service, and was highly welcomed. All in all we had a very pleasant, happy and fanstastic stay in Gwelfor. It is a good place to be for a family.
We had a great weekend here. The games room was a hit with our family, especially the morning that the weather wasn’t great. Take crabbing lines as there’s a great spot opposite the house - we caught loads - kids loved it. We ate at the Black Seal and Sea Shanty both is recommend - both walking distance.
Kitchen well equipped, bedrooms good sizes. Annex brill for the grandparents.
We had a lovely time at gwellfor , I was surprised at how equipped the kitchen was, the cottage is cosy we loved the garden and games room. Stunning views all around! I would definitely book again , although I think maybe the bedding could do with an update although clean it looked a little tired and the quilts seemed short this was no problem just a personal opinion and would definitely not put me off going back !
