We recently had a 'girls weekend' at Hazelmere. We were looking for something location wise that suited us all and Hazelmere came up at a great price especially for a cottage with a hot tub. We had a great weekend. Hazelmere is probably the best equipped cottage i have stayed at, there were so many added unexpected extras the owners really have thought of everything. From extra 'hot tub' towels, robes and slippers to wee toiletry packs and even a chocolate on the pillow. There was also an abundance of extra blankets and even hot water bottles! The kitchen was equiped with everything you could need including tea, coffee etc and a Tassimo coffee machine which was a nice treat! Hazelmere was spotlessly clean. Plenty space with a large lounge area and also an entertainment room which would be ideal for families. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were there to greet us on arival, show us around and were happy to be contacted throughout the weekend if we had any questions. We had a meal at the Old Cross Inn whish is right next to the property and this was lovely and good value. We also went to the local gin distillery for a tour and tasting which was excellent value and would highly recommend. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hazelmere and we are already talking about booking up again.

We had a lovely holiday in Hazelmere, the cottage was very big and full of everything that you need for a self catering holiday. We loved the garden it's beautiful and it had lots of birds visiting when we were there. The hot tub was great for us we used it when we came back in the early evening after being out all day discovering the area. The welcome pack that Mae provided was very thoughtful. The games room provides plenty of entertainment for your kids what a great idea. The cottage was full of leaflets and information on what to do, where to visit and places to eat which game in very handy.

Great cottage. Lots of room. Comfortable, well equipped, private, and quiet. Great garden. Hot tub an extra treat. Location great- on edge of town yet quiet. Near to pub, yet on edge of local countryside. Plenty of walks from cottage (to Alyth, Drimmie woods, Cargill's leap, Craighall circular, Den o' Alyth), then further afield - Sidlaw hills, Glen Shee, Strathardle, Angus Glens etc. Historic interest nearby with Pictish stones at various places inc. Stone museum at Meigle plus earth souterrain and Dove Cote at Tealing also worth a look. Glamis castle is a fascinating look at a residence with royal links, there is so much to see inside there.

A beautifully presented property with all necessary kit provided, and some great extras not often found elsewhere. Games room a triumph for entertaining our kids and the rest of the property spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen and such a lovely garden. Location ideal for us but as with much of Scotland you still need to travel fair distances for a variety of days out. All rooms beautifully decorated and furnished with a range of seating in the lounge diner and comfortable dining for six. Kitchen a good size. Thoroughly recommended if the location is right for you. We loved our stay.

A very well equipped house with the local pub a very short walk away. We would definitely recommend a stay here. A good base to explore Perthshire and beyond.
