One if the best cottages we have stayed at with thoughtful little extras and a bonus to have a larger tv. The garden and summerhouse were lovely on sunny evenings. It was only a fifteen minute stroll into Bakewell with its large amount of small shops and a few dog friendly pubs.

Loved the house but for us , being old wrinklies, The distance to town and back was a little too much.

Heather house was very comfortable and clean, the garden was lovely and got the sun all day and into the evening. Perfect to sit in with a glass of wine after good days walking. The walk into Bakewell along the stream was lovely. Plenty of facilities in the town. Its situated in a very quiet street, we barely saw anyone while we were there . Very handy for walking the Monsal trail. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Well appointed and very clean. Freezer tucked away in cupboard in downstairs loo area - not ideal. Garden lovely and secure for small dog. Main areas downstairs have hard flooring - so great for dog and the 2nd lounge (snug) carpeted for extra coziness. Would stay again.
