Lovely cosy cottage, clean and good for local attractions. Really enjoyed our stay and the decking area at the back was a sun trap during the day

Excellent relaxing trip, everything we needed at the cottage, owners very helpful, and left us alone to get on with enjoying our relaxing get away. So much to see and do in the area lots of walks, monuments and Abbeys to visit.
Loved every minute of our time here! Would love to come back! Great chance to explore the surrounding areas, wether it be rain or sunshine. Highly recommend.
Private and secluded, perfect for a getaway from everything. Lots of care taken to welcome guests with bubbles and chocolate and cottage is kitted out with everything you may need. A return visit is most certainly on the cards. Would highly recommend.
Lovely cottage very quiet and peaceful. warm and cosy, despite the cool weather. Good walks from the door which is great when you have dogs. Plenty of places to visit nearby. We would definitely recomend it for a quiet holiday. The track is fine if you remember you are in the country not on the motorway!!
A stunning cottage in a beautiful location. The owners are so, so lovely and are very helpful. The cottage is well-furnished and we had a very relaxing and comfortable week. It was so lovely watching the sheep and lambs in the mornings. The decked area outside of the cottage is also lovely to sit in the sun. There is no shower in the cottage but we actually enjoyed having to have baths as it was much more relaxing. Only slight issues were that the floorboards were very creaky throughout the cottage and it was impossible to move around when the baby was sleeping (without an infant this wouldn't have been a concern!). Finally, the sofa could do with a good hoover and parts of the cottage could do with a deep clean. Also, the kitchen could do with some scissors! Other than that it was perfect. All in all, a beautiful property in a stunning, private location and excellent value for money - we have recommended to family!
Amazing cottage. Isolated which was great and lots of walks for us and the dogs. Very clean and even a bottle of prosecco waiting for us when we arrived. Highly recommended! We will be back!
WE#e love it at Heathfield we have been several times
Excellent, it was lovely having our breakfast looking out over a field full of sheep. The log burning stove was very comforting on an evening.
Everything was very nice.
We arrived on Christmas Eve to find the cottage decorated with a tree and fairy lights, and the fire was laid and ready to light. The owner had kindly left us a Christmas cake, mince pies and a bottle of bubbly.
The cottage was bigger than expected, clean, warm and very welcoming. It is furnished as a home rather than a rental making it very comfortable to stay in.
During our stay we spotted wild deer and pheasants in the woods at the back of the house and didn't see another person until we went out for a walk. The location is very peaceful and perfect for a quiet get away together.
I would happily recommend this cottage and we plan to go back in 2019
We wanted to be in the middle of no where and that’s what we got! The cottage was lovely perfect size for 2 and our puppy! Lovely and clean and even got welcome bottle of prosecco and a box of chocolates. Owners very friendly and helpful! Not many walks surrounding as most were on country roads.
Beautiful cottage fantastic location amazing scenery
