Helens lea has good location, 10-15 min walk to town center. The rooms have different size as the beds. The double beds are too small for two grown up people. The ensuite room with twin beds were ok. There were only two chairs with backrests around the Dining table, (and two benches to sit or having as table to the Sofa. The kichen is small and narrow. A shelterd garden was nice to go out and sit in.
This is a lovely home from home. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the en suite in one room was very handy. The kitchen was well equipped and the little garden lovely to eat outside. It’s in a great location with the centre of St Andrews just a short walk away. The owners gave us such a warm welcome and it was a real pleasure to stay here for the week.

As always, we had another wonderful week at Helens Lea and have booked again for later on in the year. The place is home from home for us, and with a warm welcome from Ron and Viv always waiting we just can't wait to get there. The best.

Lovely, cosy cottage in easy walking distance to the centre of St Andrews. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to St Andrews.
Great flat. Well equipped. Comfortable and clean and 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Owner was very personable and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely book again.
