Boasting its own fenced patio and garden, it is just 10 miles from the Peak District National Park, in an area rich in places of interest and good inns serving food, nearest 200 yards. Little Moreton Hall (National Trust) is just 1 mile. Town amenities in Congleton, 5 miles, whilst Chester, with its zoo and Roman wall, is within easy reach. The famous Pottery towns are only 8 miles away, with visitor centres, factory shopping and Waterworld swimming leisure centre. Within 15 miles are Quarry Bank Mill, Tatton Park, Biddulph Grange, Stapeley Water Gardens and the exciting Jodrell Bank Science Centre. The Alton Towers theme park with its array of ’white knuckle’ rides is 20 miles. There is a small marina shop on the adjacent boatyard (open in season), and a village shop can be found ¾ mile away.

This is an excellent cottage in a Marina location. All our party were very positive about the cottage including its facilities and its location. All the staff at the Heritage Marina were very helpful, friendly and a credit to the organisation.

Lovely holiday with children and grandchildren. Clean comfortable and well equipped the party age was 11months to 95yrs and all were happy with the accomodation

Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cottage as the description and photographs do not do it justice in my opinion. Inside was spacious and clean with well equipped kitchen. The garden was well kept with lovely views overlooking the canal and plenty of seating. The cottage is situated in the marina itself which sold a small selection of staple groceries such as coffee and tea etc but there was a large Tesco's approx 4 miles away if you needed more items and a pub approx 5 mins walk away which does excellent food. Overall we were very happy with cottage and location and would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was fantastic holiday and hotel quality clean inside, kitchen has large fridge and separate freezer which was very useful also washing machine and tumble dryer with iron facilities gave us extra comfort

We were a party of 6 adults and 1 three year old. The accommodation was more than
adequate for sleeping and entertainment needs. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The bungalow is in the marina so plenty to see if you like canal boats. there are no shops within a mile so you need to take all provisions with you. There is a public house within a couple of minuets walk which is excellent for food and drinks. Very well equipped kitchen everything you need for all your cooking needs. Highly recommended.
