This spacious property is an ideal location from which to explore the Lake District National Park, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. High Mains is situated on a working farm, although the property is completely private.

All on one level and offering great flexibility for friends and family to get together. The largest bedroom offers a kingsize bed and en-suite shower room. There are two further spacious bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and one a double bed. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. The huge living room has plenty of space to socialise, beautifully furnished with amazing views over the Lake District Fells. There is also access to the lawns and decking with outdoor furniture from the lounge and also the kitchen. There are two further bathrooms, the main bathroom has a bath while the en-suite and third bathroom have a shower cubicle.
High Mains is well located with a local pub just 5 minutes’ walk and also a short drive to visit the beautiful market town of Cockermouth, the birthplace and childhood home of Romantic poet, William Wordsworth. Keswick too, is a must-see town and just a short scenic drive away passing Bassenthwaite Lake with the imposing backdrop of Skiddaw on the way. Loweswater, Crummock and Buttermere are a short drive where you can access other fabulous scenic lake district walks. You’re about 10 minutes’ drive from Cockermouth and about 25 minutes to Keswick.
