Love High Moor cottage, we’ve visited many times. It’s so peaceful and the owner is very friendly

Lovely warm cottage.Clean and with extra touch of fantastic scents around the house. We have arrived late(due to terrible traffic)but to our surprise home was heated for us with quiet music on. Just what we needed. Spot on! It was too short to truly rest as our boys kept us busy, but nothing beats the calm, quiet nite and the surroundings. My little boy always looked forward to saying "hello"to the black cat and we also got a cuddle and a kiss from the horse:)Feeders outside of the living room window allowed us to watch bunch of birds feeding.Pheasants everywhere. We are so looking forward to return to this calming place!

Great cottage in a very nice area

Can't fault the cottage or the host, I will absolutely try and get back soon. The cottage is perfect for a small family, especially with the 2 living areas. My only frustration (and it is my frustration and certainly not a complaint) is that I was yearning to see the views beyond the trees, that said, it's a beautiful serene setting with the surrounding woodland. 100% recommended.

A fantastic cottage in a wonderful location. Wildlife everywhere, and perfectly situated for the Lakes, Hills, Hadrian's Wall and Scotland for a day trip. Well recommended and a great host.
