Tucked away in a secluded rural position approached by a ½ mile long well made up farm lane.\nThis property truly provides a haven from which to escape the pressures of everyday life. Enjoying panoramic views of Pendle Hill and the Ribble Valley. A public footpath and bridleway runs close by making it ideal for walking and riding direct from the door and with the Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales close at hand it is ideal for touring. Blackpool and the Lakes lie a little further afield. Alternatively the bustling market town of Skipton is 10 miles and there are plenty of mill shops in the surrounding towns which provide quality products at discounted prices. Shop and pub 3 miles.\n" https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/137/840/1374701.jpg 16693

What can I say; this cottage was everything we needed for a family holiday to celebrate my birthday. We were a family with an age range from 11 years to 80 years and it suited us perfectly. It was great for a large family gathering and the bedrooms and bathrooms were arranged just perfectly. The views from the cottage, in every direction, were amazing and I hope someday to return. The photos on the web don’t do it justice.

Fabulous cottage. Well equipt. Lovely hosts. Beautiful farm.

Only slight down side for us, and this is very minor, is that with the games room being in a separate building, and what looked like windows on the pictures, being wooden doors, it was rather cold in March. This meant we couldn't use it, because we would have had to leave a baby unattended in the house. It in no way affected our enjoyment of the mini break as we played board games inside the comfy cozy lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotless, with choccies in the the arrival pack which went down a storm. The location is fabulously remote with amazing views of the dales. A real walkers paradise.

Warm and comfortable property. We’ll definitely visit again. There was small issue with the water pressure but owners informed us something had broken down and was going to be repaired with a day of us departing. Best property we have stayed in

We had a wonderful Christmas/ New Year week at Higher Paradise cottage.A very warm welcome with festive decorations and chocolates. Very clean and spacious with brilliant views from the cottage. The cottage is child friendly with the games room and several baskets of toys. There are plenty of driveable days out but the cottage also lends itself to lazy days. A great find.

Our family has been on 3 occasions for Christmas and the house has proved ideal as the rural and isolated position suits us since we like being outside for walks - with safe play opportunities for young children - as well as enjoying the house and games room. We're not bothered about local amenities and Sainsbury efficiently delivered a large order which largely supplied us for the week. The kitchen was well-equipped and we didn't eat out. The Dairy-farm owners who live nearby are relaxed and helpful.

We would happily return to Higher Paradise - a good time was had by all

This is our 2nd visit - I would highly recommend to families and groups as it has plenty of space, a games room etc - really excellent and value for money.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. A bit out the way but we liked that and the beautiful countryside views. Bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely. Kitchen had everything we needed was just a bit of a squeeze to cook for 10 and the dining area was tight to seat ten altogether although we managed. Games room could do with a bit of TLC and there were a few odd bits such as lightbulbs out that stopped us giving this a ten out of ten. All in all we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed exploring the local area. People very friendly and the children loved seeing the cows on the farm.

Great place for a weekend - made good use of the games room .
