Although the weather was dreadful the house was warm, cosy, comfortable and clean. There was a lovely welcome gift for humans and dogs which was a lovely surprise. What was an even nicer surprise was the thank you gift for choosing the house. Looking forward to going back. Thanks for letting us rent your property.

Fantastic cottage, beautifully furnished in a nice quiet area. Everything you need for a relaxing time. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Easy access to Keswick, Cockermouth and much of the lake District. The garden was great for the dogs, fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend it.

Highland Cottage has to be one of the best cottages we've stayed in! Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, great shower, comfortable sofas! Extremely generous welcome pack! Lovely welcome from Jan, helpful information from Graham in where to visit. Cottage in a lovely quiet location, so slept really well every night. Would absolutely recommend a visit here and would love to visit again
