A wider range of amenities can be found 5 miles away in Hanley. The market town of Leek which is renowned for its antique shops is just 6 miles away. Ideally located for exploring the Staffordshire moorlands Cheshire and the Peak District National Park it is a great area for walking and there are lots of attractions within easy driving distance.     Great set up for a big group. Great that all bedrooms have bathrooms and are a big size. Could do with better living room seating, and Prosecco glasses. Bring basic kitchen equipment - bin bags, dishwasher tablets, milk, ketchup

    I loved everything about the house, only complaint was we could not get the wifi to work and we desperately need it. Otherwise it was 100% perfect for us.

    Fantastic house in a lovely quiet location. Huge driveway, 10 cars we had between us and all got parked easily. Great open plan kitchen/diner space but the lounge layout could have been better; seating areas split into two furthest corners of the room so you couldn't easily sit and chat together with everyone without moving the sofas. Beds were very comfortable, and the bedrooms were well laid out. It was also very well sound insulated so its easy to have some quiet time upstairs when other people in your group are downstairs. Simple instructions for the washing machine would have been useful as I struggled to get it to program. Shame there isn't any recycling facilities, we separated all our waste to then find no recycling bins on site and felt treacherous having to put it all in the general waste bin. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pans, crockery and cutlery but we couldn't find any oven trays or a coffee pot/cafetiere which would've been very useful. Having two dishwashers and 3 cookers was great too! It was very clean and tidy and Gemma who met us on site was really friendly and helpful. The Top Pub next door is well worth a visit, we had a delicious meal and drinks there. There is also a nice little walk around a nature reserve very close to the house which was perfect for us with small children. We were very excited for the Christmas decorations being up too,thanks to Chantal for arranging this for us in November! We will definitely be back next year

    Had a wonderful time, Gemma the manager was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of space for the whole group to spend time together but plenty of room to escape as well.

    Large house with plenty of bedrooms rooms and Bathrooms which is good as we didn't need to queue up for the loo. Met the Owner of the house and she was very nice lady and could be reached easily if required. Fully equipped house with everything we need and the Bar-B-Q HUT was a great extra. We had fun staying there and would definitely stay there again.
