    Great place to stay and an easy walk into the village- was not informed that bridge down at booking point so made changes to walking routes. Owners great- we had a valley power cut and candles were delivered straight away.

    Garden Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our family get together. The living room is amazing, loads of space and a wood burning stove. Good selection of pots and pans, which is often limited in holiday cottages. The attic single bedroom is very cute and cosy, the perfect hideaway from the rest of the family! Great location, a 15 minute walk along the river from the village.

    Lovely place would book this place again. We had my disabled father of 80 years who could not walk far so we did need to use a car .

    A beautifully presented cottage situated in the hidden gem that is North Lakes. We had a brilliant stay in this roomy bungalow, after being warmly welcomed by the owner. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the living room and admiring the traditional features of the house. We struggled to dry wet clothes due to the house being quite cool and there being no way to turn the heating on. Neither of the showers were very powerful.
