Lovely cottage. Kitchen is amazing. Lounge comfortable. Bed not so comfortable and squeeks when you move. Cutlery had to go through dishwasher as some was dirty. Note that dog restricted to downstairs

Lovely cottage in lovely location. However, we did find it fairly cold especially upstairs but I guess that would be due to the stone walls. Had a lovely log burner but took a long time to warm up but once it did, was very cosy. Unfortunately the bed was very soft and I am used to a hard mattress so didn’t sleep much. I think it would be beneficial to put on the website about the drive - unless you have a 4 x 4 or high base car you cannot get in/out the drive. Also it would have been handy to know that, although it is dog friendly they are not allowed to exercise or go to the loo in the garden. It was a wet and windy weekend when we stayed so not much fun having to go down the road each time the dog needed to go! I think if we had gone on a warm, sunny weekend it would have been a different story!

We stayed at Holliers Cottage over Christmas with our dog and we absolutely loved it. The cottage itself was immaculate and very cosy! A welcome pack was provided which was really useful and covered absolutely everything. We loved snuggling up by the fire watching movies and the kitchen was so well set up (I'd actually brought some things from home just in case which I never needed), we never felt the need to eat out. Our dog in particular loved the under floor heating. I bumped into the owner one day who was very welcoming and let us know not to hesitate if there was anything we needed. Overall a perfect little get away and we would love to return!

Stunningly beautiful cottage in a remote part of Oxon. The cottage provides you with every creature comfort required. The owners provided a welcome pack that was unexpected and a great touch. Don’t expect to get any mobile phone reception in the area but leading very busy lives in London tha was a welcome relief. A must visit and we are already thinking about returning.

Lovely secluded cottage with own parking and private garden. Well maintained house with lots of caring touches by the owners, including own eggs, apple juice and homemade brownies. Everything you need is thought of and house is spotlessly clean. We particularly liked the contemporary style and underfloor heating was very cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Lovely owner left box of essential goodies in kitchen including own hens’ eggs (delicious), bread and chocolate brownies I eventually had to confiscate from Husband! One tiny flaw is no downstairs WC but the upstairs bathroom is beautifully appointed and everything one could require has been put in this pretty cottage - including a radio. We would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely small cottage with plenty of character and all the facilities one could want: comfortable bed, excellent shower, well-provided kitchen, quiet country location, and in a great place for sight-seeing (Oxford and Blenheim of course, but also some wonderful NT properties such as Waddesdon, Buscot, Upton an easy drive away - also Kelmscott). Excellent restaurant (The Cinnamon Stick) within 100 yards. Helpful cottage owner very close, to sort out any problems (we had none). And though we sometimes steer clear of cottages which allow dogs (as this one does), we had no need to worry about allergies - the house was immaculately clean, with not a dog hair in sight.
