    Hoseasons "A detached farmhouse with views down the Derwent Valley. Well maintained and a great base for a family holiday. Ground floor Living room with double sofa bed. Dining roomkitchen. First floor 2 bedrooms 1 double 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.Gas CH elec bed linen and towels inc. Cot. Hchair. Elec cooker. Mwave. Wmachine. Tdryer. Ffreezer. Dwasher. Large garden with patio and picnic table. Parking 3 cars. No smoking. This superbly restored 18th-century farmhouse has commanding views down to the wooded Derwent Valley and is just a few yards from the famed Tramway Museum and ‘Crich Stand’ viewpoint. This well maintained property will delight the discerning holidaymaker and the property makes a good base for a family holiday in this heritage-rich area. Matlock Bath is under 15 minutes away there are fine walks from the door and Chatsworth Dovedale and the limestone dales of the Peak Park are under 15 miles.     Great location, and nice setting. Right up against a road, but not much traffic. The only problem was the spider webs virtually everywhere. By the side of the washing machines, beside wardrobes, ceiling cornersm stair rails etc etc. The place was cold when we got ther, but soon warmed up and the hosts were reluctantly helpful. Could have handled the situation better. The shower holder and toilet flush were both broken, but usable. A surprise visit by the owners was an unpleasant occurance. Nice walks from right outside the door. And plenty of parking. Wouldn't recommend it if you were terrified of spiders like one of our group...

    Lovely house, a bit cold but ok once the heating kicked in. Minimal number of plug sockets, good job there was plenty of extension leads. Don’t want to be picky, overall the house was clean but there was a lot of cobwebs in the corners and lamp shades

    We didn’t like the cottage at all. Felt very uncomfortable there and decided not to stay. But reading the Visitors’ Book it was clear that many others had enjoyed their stay.

    Well presented and ideally situated to enjoy that particular lovely part of Derbyshire. A short walk to amenities including pubs, butcher, bakery and more. Owner very helpful and accommodating
