Surrounded by nature, Home Farm is set in the beautiful rolling Angus countryside within the Lunan Valley. Furnished to a very high standard, this beautiful stone-built property is an ideal retreat from the stresses of life.
The buildings date from around 1890, the old steadings and mill form a complex of buildings which include the owner’s property and bed and breakfast and a luxurious spa area with swimming pool, jacuzzi and aquarium.
The cottage itself sleeps six in comfort, with a sizeable living room with a wood burner (ideal for curling up in front of with a good book) and a fully fitted kitchen/dining room as well as two bathrooms, two double bedrooms and a twin room. For your convenience, you will find shower/hair gel, tea, coffee and sugar in the cottage. The cottage looks onto a paved courtyard with a gazebo for smokers use and beyond is the beautiful exclusive on-site spa area that includes a 10-metre swimming pool, with a countercurrent pump for keen swimmers, a jacuzzi and a Finnish sauna with three separate showers.
Down-time guaranteed after a hard day’s sightseeing! Please note, this facility is to be booked in advance directly with the owners at a cost. Depending on whether you wish a relaxed holiday by the beach or, visit one of the County’s stunning private gardens which are open to the public, wildlife watching on one of the many nearby reserves or for the more energetic venturing into the nearby Cairngorm National Park for some elusive Munro bagging, there is something for everyone in this lovely part of Scotland.
There is excellent golf and fishing throughout the region and superb walking in the Angus Glens nearby, while for more cultural days out, Dundee’s exhibition with Captain Scott’s ship The Discovery and the famous V & A museum is just 20 miles.
