    Comfort and Equipment

Cottage was cosy and in a quiet spot and is well placed to visit some lovely places around Shropshire.

A very comfortable cottage, well equipped and clean. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk along with biscuits and eggs was appreciated. A pleasant seating area in the back garden too. Good location for exploring Shropshire, especially the town of Shrewsbury, several National Trust properties and the Ironbridge museums. Shrewsbury is a good shopping centre and there is a selection of shops and a supermarket by the Meole Brook park and ride. Minsterley itself has a good Coop beside the petrol station. The Nags Head in Pontesbury is excellent for food. A lovely cottage to return to after a day exploring. We would definitely return.

Lovely place to stay, pretty cottage and garden. Having 3 bedrooms is a major advantage for the kids to sleep better. Well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge and good selection of films to watch if it rains. Surrounding area has plenty to do, the woolly mammoth at Shropshire Discovery Centre is a must.

Lovely welcome pack. All equipment you could want. Lovely butcher nearby. Good walk for the dog across the road and along a brook. Well situated for Carding mill valley, Ironbridge, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. A very enjoyable holiday.

We loved every minute of our stay at the cottage. It was so cosy, peaceful and quiet. Lovely garden to sit in and look out on as well.

no one said there was a pumping station just up the road which ran all night and if the wind was in the right direction the bad smell. the over all impression was that the cottage was very tired

The cottage is in a good location when visiting Shropshire. The problem with Minsterley is you always have the Muller factory or the REA cornbeef factory in view

Comfortable dog-friendly cottage in quiet village just south of Shrewsbury - well situated for exploring the area and Shrewsbury.

Had a great time but weather not kind to us The snow was pretty and great walks for the dog

Fantastic cottage, well equipped, cosy and large enough for a small family and 2 dogs

Amazing cottage . Very warm and clean abs well stocked. WiFi worked well. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Our fourth or fifth visit so we obviously like it ! It particularly suits us with our dogs.

    Lovely cottage well equipt.

    out of 10

Kitchen equipment was lacking - would have expected beer, wine and water glasses .for 4 people as a minimum. Pans were dirty - some still had oil in them. A lot of the crockery was dirty too and had clearly been badly hand washed. Maybe provide more than just one dishwasher tablet to encourage people to use it? House instructions are out of date - eg, no information about what recycling goes where and when it is emptied. The boiler was not on a timer as in the house instructions, it was all turned off. It is a lovely cottage, and lovely and warm once we got the heating on!
