Beautiful location. Sofas are not very comfortable and a comfortable arm chair would be nice.
Very peaceful and tranquil cottage. Would recommend.

The cottage is in an excellent location with stunning views. We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful stay despite the very mixed weather. Lots of National Trust properties close by and some good pubs with Wadhurst having all the basic amenities that may be needed.t

Excellent holiday accommodation in a beautiful setting overlooking Bewl Water. Wildlife in abundance. The owners were very nice and helpful and checked that we were happy with everything. This was our second stay in this property and we have already booked for our third stay next year. Can’t wait.
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage with beautiful views over Bewl Water. It was so quiet and peaceful, and completely isolated. The town of Wadhurst was 2 miles away and had good shops and pubs. There were plenty of places to visit and we visited Bateman’s in Burwash, Rye and Hastings.
We had an amazing week at hoppers cottage James was a great host nothing to much trouble will go again the views are amazing .
This is an amazing place to stay. So beautiful and quiet. We stayed Easter weekend and were rather touched as the owners left us Easter eggs. Lovely walks and a nature reserve nearby. I would recommend this cottage the views are stunning.
The cottage is in a very beautiful location and is very well equipped for all our needs. We will go there again.
Fantastic location, fantastic cottage and fantastic hospitality.
Hoppers Cottage is a modern cottage set in the peaceful, tranquil setting by Burwash Reservoir.
It has significance for my family as my grandparents used to visit the farm for Hop Picking every summer for many years back in the day and the current cottage is built on the site of one of the old buildings that the pickers used to stay in.
James Fuggle and his sister are lovely hosts and have done the old buildings justice, showing respect to an old way of life now sadly in the distant past.
If you enjoy dark, cosy nights, long country walks and the odd pub lunch in “old as the hills” pubs then Hoppers Cottage is for you.
We will definitely return.
Perfect place and perfect host! Ideal for a weekend break away from London.
Hoppers Cottage is a very special place , comfortable, peaceful, relaxing and in a beautiful location. The owners were very helpful, there if you need them, the perfect hosts.
Superb Location with fantastic views over Bewl Water. We had a lovely, tranquil and very relaxing break.
Absolutely beautiful cottage. Stunning views. Couldn't wish for a more peaceful place.
Very clean and comfortable.
We just wanted to relax. As our house was being re-wired. Thank you.
You both should be very proud of this stunning cottage. See you again. Xx
Set in the most idyllic location, this cottage is the perfect place to forget about all stresses and worries and just relax. The cottage is beautifully warm and cosy with scenes over Bewl Waters from every window. The garden is secure for dogs and the walks start straight from the back door right down to the waters edge.
James the host could not have been more helpful . We will definitely be returning - I have never been anywhere quite like it before
